We have very recently received notification that The South Australian State Government has granted a one-off exemption allowing stores in Rundle Mall to trade until 7:00pm (usually 5:00pm) this Saturday 8 October during ADL Fashion Week.

This exemption, which applies to the Rundle Mall Precinct only, allows stores to capitalise on increased foot traffic brought in by the exciting pop-ups and experiences illuminating the Mall during Adelaide's Biggest Shopping Event.

As per usual extending trading rules, the exemption is subject to the following conditions:

• No employee can be required by the employer to work during these extended hours and the hours must be by agreement with the employee.
• Normal trading hours apply at all other times.
• All WHS issues (in particular those relating to extended trading hours) must be appropriately addressed.

Due to last night's high winds, the Gawler Place South side of City Cross has unfortunately been damaged. Engineers will be working on-site from today through until Friday, and this work may intermittently limit access to some parts of Gawler Place South over the next few days.
