Rundle Mall’s Roadmap to Recovery
The heart of Rundle Mall is our community – our retailers, services, businesses, staff and customers. Rundle Mall is so much more than a place to shop. It’s an iconic landmark and the beating heart of Adelaide, bringing local businesses and flagship international retailers together in a place that each South Australian knows in their own, unique way.
We know the past few months have been tough for our businesses, and with COVID-19 restrictions now easing, retail stores and services re-opening, and visitation increasing, it’s important we continue to support our community and maintain a safe environment for all visitors.
The Rundle Mall Management Authority has implemented a ‘Roadmap to Recovery’ program aimed at bringing activity back into the Mall in a staged approach. We have created a booklet to provide an overview of the activity that will roll out over the coming months. This year will look a little different to previous years, but the plan for the rest of 2020 is underpinned by the need to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment. There is a focus on delivering new experiences and exciting spaces that create a colourful, inviting and comfortable hub that attracts visitors back to the heart of the city.
