Visitor Information Centre

As a precaution to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Adelaide Visitor Information Centre is currently suspended until further notice.

If it's your first time in Rundle Mall, the Adelaide Visitor Information Centre is a great first stop.

The Adelaide Visitor Information Centre has a large range of maps, brochures and even guides for Rundle Mall, Adelaide and South Australia to take away and use throughout your visit.

Conveniently located in James Place, just off Rundle Mall, the centre is run by friendly volunteers who will make your stay in Adelaide a wonderful experience.

First Steps Orientation Walk

The First Steps orientation walk is a great introduction to Adelaide and will get you quickly acquainted with Rundle Mall and the nearby precinct including major attractions, public transport and current events.

The free tour departs the Adelaide Information Visitor Centre Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) at 9:30am. Bookings are not required.

Wheelchair Hire

Free short-term wheelchair and pusher hire is available.

You will be required to leave your ID and a $50 refundable deposit, which will both be returned to you when the wheelchair is returned to the centre.
