How to support Rundle Mall retailers

We're all in this together

Every visitor to Rundle Mall has their go-to favourite stores, whether it's the best coffee spot in Adelaide, an iconic retailer who has called the Mall home for years, or a destination for everything fashion.

During this time at home, it's important to show support to these retailers until we can all safely be together again. We've put together some simple but impactful ways you can demonstrate this, even if it's as small as sharing a post - it all counts.

Book an online consultation

Some clever stores have taken advantage of the world being more connected than ever, and can now bring the experience of shopping into the comfort and safety of your own home.

Luxury jewellery retailer Gerard McCabe is offering online consultations to any customers dreaming of a bespoke creation, and Australian-born fashion icon Cue is serving your sartorial fix with complimentary online styling sessions tailored to your look and taste with their in-house experts. They will even organise to have your uniquely-selected pieces delivered straight to your door! Visit their websites for more information.

Order your favourite take-away

As food and coffee outlets can still offer take-away options (with the standard guidelines relating to masks, social distancing and QR check-in in place), you can still treat yourself to the range of fresh and quick options available in the Mall. While you're grabbing your essentials at the supermarket or pharmacy, safely grab a coffee or lunch to-go from the retailers continuing to trade.

Some cafes and restaurants, such as Two Bit Villains, are also offering curb-side pick up, with others such as Nuttea delivering straight to your door for free to specified Adelaide suburbs. Check with your favourite spot to see whether they're trading during this time.

Grab it online with free shipping!

We fully support retail therapy as a reward for all your hard work keeping the community safe! Some of Rundle Mall's fashion favourites are offering free shipping for a limited time to make sure you can still shop their new arrivals from home (no one said you couldn't be a fashion icon from your couch, just saying).

General Pants is offering a hefty discount on winter layers with free shipping to boot, while exclusive Mall legends Nowa are delivering their unique new range straight to your door for no extra charge. Check with individual stores online to see if you can grab comfortable winter threads for less.

Purchase a gift card

Send a friend a thoughtful surprise by purchasing a gift card online from one of our retailers that they can use face-to-face once its safe for us to be together again. Better yet, reward yourself with a gift from you to you to use once you're back in the Mall (Haigh's Chocolates freckles, anyone?)

Click-and-collect

Many major retailers, including Myer, David Jones, Tiffany's, Rebel Sport and Apple, are offering click-and-collect services so you can still stock up on whatever you need to get you through this time. Grab your exercise equipment, warm clothes, gifts for the birthdays spent at home or just a well-deserved pick-me-up, all while staying safe and socially-distanced. Check online with individual stores for more details.

Like, comment, share

Showing your support can be as simple as engaging with your favourite retailer's social media. Share a post with their amended trading hours or special offers, add a positive comment or leave a 5-star review. Even the small gestures can mean a lot during this time.
