Multicultural Youth SA - Have Tea with a Refugee Activation
Join MYSA this Refugee Week as they return to Rundle Mall for their annual Have Tea with a Refugee event, celebrating this year’s theme: A Million Stories.
This is a free community event that brings people together over shared food, conversation and culture, creating space to listen, connect and learn from one another.
Visitors are invited to come along, sit down for a cup of tea with a young refugee, and hear about their journey – where they’ve come from, the challenges they’ve faced and the hopes they have for the future. There’s also space to share your own story if you’d like – all are welcome!
Across the two days, there will also be multicultural activities and performances including Henna tattoos, glitter bar, African drumming and more. This is a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone! No bookings required, just come along and be part of the conversation.
Find the Have Tea with a Refugee activation located under the Gawler Place Canopy this Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June.
