A Symphony in the City

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is bringing the heart of classical music to the centre of the city, with a special live performance in Rundle Mall to celebrate their 90th anniversary in 2026.

On Friday 24 April, from 1pm – 3pm at the Gawler Place Intersection, a 55-person orchestra will transform the Mall into their stage, performing a rare large-scale orchestral symphony to passersby!

As we celebrate our 50th birthday year,  you won’t want to miss this incredible moment that marks a significant milestone for another South Australian icon.
